Mitas Hill Vineyards is returning with a complimentary wine tasting tent. KLAK -97.5 Radio will be on site with a live remote broadcast and registering people for fun prizes, including a one-year lease on a 2017 Jeep Wrangler from Dodge City of McKinney. This year’s picnic dinner and treat options will be available for purchase from Arete Gourmet Sliders and Rita’s Italian Ice/Custard. And finally, guests can enjoy browsing through a pop-up Artisan’s Market featuring almost 20 different vendors.
To make your time at Tucker Hill’s PorchFest even more enjoyable, may we suggest the following:
- Plan for walking, as in order to enjoy our porch bands you will need to stroll our streets to listen to these outstanding musicians. See below for an event map or look for signage during the event.
- Bring a blanket or portable chairs to camp out for a short time at each front porch and then to ensure your comfort during the Moving Colors main stage concert which will be held on a large, grassy lawn.
- While food trucks will be offering food and drinks for purchase, picnicking is always welcome! (Please remember to abide by all open container laws.)
- Free street/curbside parking is available throughout the community. Two complimentary golf cart shuttles will also be available to help move guests in and around the event.

Pat Harrigan — Pat discovered his love of playing guitar and singing when taking a required music class in college for his degree in Elementary Education. He bought a Jimmy Buffett song book to expand on his class’s basic studies, and that’s where it all began! From the 70’s until the present, Pat has added hundreds of songs (old and new) to his collection. Singing at local pubs, social events, parties, weddings, restaurants, and friendly gatherings, he selects songs that fit the occasion, setting, and the clientele. Pat loves interacting with his audiences, telling stories about the songwriters and songs he performs. An evening with Pat is relaxed and intimate, and most likely you’ll find yourself singing along with the music, or hearing a tune that makes you get up and dance! Pat regularly performs at the McKinney Farmers Market, and at Caudalie Crest Winery. He has a groupie following of friends, wine lovers, and golfers, which also happen to be his three favorite things in life (in addition to music)!
