Pumpkinville Takes Hiatus…Fall Festival Planned Instead!

October 30, 2017 9:00 am

Thank you to the over 2,000 guests who joined us for this year’s event!  We hope you had a great time and will consider the Tucker Hill community when you’re in the market for a new home!  Check our other news postings for more upcoming events coming soon!

Pumpkinville update!   Due to all the current construction projects, space near the entrances to Tucker Hill is limited in 2017 for hosting our annual two-week long Pumpkinville pumpkin patch.  So, in its place, Southern Land Company will host a one weekend Fall Family Fun Festival that features almost all the same activities and fall photo vignettes found at Pumpkinville…just no pumpkins for sale.  So mark your calendars for October 28-29, 2017, and make plans to join us now!  Please note that while the event is open until 5 pm, most of our free activities (like the hay ride, face painting, petting zoo and pumpkin painting) are closed by 4 pm.  Wait lines may be closed as early as 3 pm so our guests don’t end up standing in a long line only to be turned away at 4 pm.

Southern Land Company, along with our master builder partners SLC Homebuilding, LLC, and Darling Homes, is also offering a chance to register to win a one-year Family Membership to McKinney’s Heard Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary.   Just stop by one of our model homes from October 28-29 and complete a guest info form to be included in our drawing!  (Sorry, current Tucker Hill Residents, SLC or Builder Partner Employees and their families not qualified to win.)  The Heard offers families the chance to not only enjoy miles of hiking trails, but also numerous special events each year including their annual animatronic Dinosaurs Live exhibit, Halloween at The Heard, and Spring Plant Sale.
